Why 'just a recharge' usually isn't
Refrigerant doesn't get used up — if the system is low, it's leaking. Topping it off without finding the leak wastes money and refrigerant. We pressure-test the system and use electronic detection and UV dye to find the actual escape point, then fix it so the cold air stays.
Every visit ends with a written report — what we found, what we did, and what can safely wait.
The compressor is the heart
The compressor does the hard work in the AC loop, and it's the most expensive component to replace. Catching weak performance, clutch issues, or contamination early — before debris circulates through the whole system — is the difference between a repair and an overhaul.
