Suspension wear is gradual, so most drivers don't notice how bad it's gotten until it's fixed. Worn shocks and struts let the tires lose contact with the road — which means longer stops, sloppier cornering, and a tiring ride. Fresh damping brings back the composed, planted feel the car had when it was new.

Why uneven tire wear starts here
Cupped, feathered, or one-sided tire wear is almost always a suspension or alignment story. Worn bushings and ball joints let wheel angles drift out of spec, and the tires pay for it. We diagnose the cause before you buy new rubber — otherwise the new set wears out the same way.
Tracking down noises
Clunks and rattles have a way of hiding. We check every wear point under load on the lift — sway bar end links, control arm bushings, strut mounts, ball joints, and steering linkage — until we find the actual source, not just the loudest suspect.
When alignment comes into it
Replacing suspension components changes wheel geometry, so we'll tell you honestly when a wheel alignment should follow the repair — and when it isn't necessary. Skipping a needed alignment shortens tire life; paying for an unneeded one just shortens your patience.
