Terms of service
Last updated August 2026. Plain-language terms for bookings, deposits, estimates, and our repair warranty.
Appointments & deposits
Online bookings are confirmed with a $50 deposit, processed securely by Stripe. The deposit is not a fee — it is applied in full toward your final invoice. Cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours' notice for a complete refund of the deposit. Missed appointments or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may forfeit the deposit, at the shop's reasonable discretion.
Estimates & authorization
Quotes provided through this website are good-faith estimates based on the information you supply and are not binding until we inspect the vehicle. Before any repair work begins, you will receive a written estimate, and no work is performed without your authorization. If additional issues are discovered mid-repair, we will contact you for approval before proceeding.
Warranty
Qualifying repairs are covered by a 12-month / 12,000-mile limited warranty (whichever comes first) on parts and labor performed by Juan's Autoshop. The warranty covers defects in the parts we installed and the workmanship of our repair; it does not cover unrelated failures, normal wear items, damage from misuse or accident, or repairs subsequently altered by another party. Keep your invoice — it is your warranty document.
Vehicles & personal property
Please remove valuables before drop-off; we are not responsible for personal items left in vehicles except in cases of our negligence. Vehicles left more than 5 business days after completed work is ready for pickup may incur reasonable storage charges after we have attempted to reach you.
Website use

We may decline or cancel bookings made in error, in bad faith, or that we cannot safely accommodate — with any deposit refunded in full.
